Dates & Times

  • Saturday 2 November 2024: 8:30am – 1:00pm (or 5:30pm – if multiple flights are required)
  • Sunday 3 November 2024: 9:00am – 12:30pm (or 4:30pm – if multiple flights are required)

Age Requirements

  • Age is determined as at 31 December 2024
  • Minimum age for competition is 20 years

Age Divisions

  • 20-49 (Open), 50-59 (50+), 60-69 (60+), 70-99 (70+)

Schedule

Saturday 2 November 2024 (Round 1)

  • 8:30am: Equipment inspection (available at the Judges’ tent from 8:30am. Please remember to take your Competitor Number with you)
  • 9:00am – 9:30am: Official practice
  • 9:30am: Competition shooting & Scoring commence
  • 1:00pm: Competition concludes

(Afternoon flight – only if required.)

  • 1:30pm – 2:00pm: Official practice
  • 2:00pm: Competition shooting & Scoring commence
  • 5:30pm: Competition concludes

Sunday 3 November 2024 (Round 2)

  • 9:00am – 9:30am: Official practice
  • 9:30am: Competition shooting & Scoring commences
  • 12:30pm: Competition concludes

(Afternoon flight – only if required.)

  • 1:00pm – 1:30pm: Official practice
  • 1:30pm: Competition shooting & Scoring commence
  • 4:30pm: Competition concludes

No equipment inspection on Day 2 unless a Competitor intends to use equipment that was not inspected on Day 1.

Fees

Each competitor is required to pay the Games Fee once and then the Sport Fee for each sport in which they register.

Additional Information

  • This is a World Archery registered event.
  • Crossbow is not permitted.
  • Competitors may only shoot one Bow Type and one Round of 90 arrows and one Round of 72 arrows.
  • All arrows will be shot with no breaks for lunch on each day.
  • Placings will be determined by the competitors’ daily totals and accumulated score for both days.
  • You will be unable to shoot practice before you have your equipment inspected.
  • The club does not provide food, however there are takeaway shops within 500m of the venue.
  • The club does have portable water however we strongly recommend that you bring your own water.
  • The club does have limited cold canned & bottled beverages, chocolates, & ice creams for sale.
  • There is ample off-street parking available on site.
  • Please note that if you are not an Archery Australia Member a temporary member form must be completed prior to the event.
  • The competition is presented by Centenary Archers Club and sanctioned by South Queensland Archery Society, Archery Queensland, & Archery Australia.
